Life Enrichment Manager

At Sunrise, our Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for consistently engaging residents in familiar routines of daily living through personalized Life Skills that “Create Pleasant Days” for residents. Life Skills are familiar tasks that residents enjoyed doing in the past that can still bring a sense of success, meaning and purpose in the present. The Life Enrichment Manager is responsible for designing Life Skills to reflect each resident’s past interests and for providing them with encouragement, prompts and hands on assistance.


 Plans, organizes, develops and leads the overall operation of the Live With Fulfillment Club in accordance with federal,
state, local laws and Sunrise Senior Living standards, guidelines and regulations.
 Providing Life Enriching Activities in large group, small group, and one-on-one settings following Live with Purpose and Live With Fulfillment guidelines.
 Champions the all-embracing quality delivery of the Resident Centered model.
 Partners with the Activities & Volunteer Coordinator to ensure a variety of appropriate and individualized
activities are available within the Live With Fulfillment program and that Care Partners are actively involved and
engaged with activities.
 Designs, schedules and facilitates the Live With Fulfillment program including a variety of identity enhancing
activities and focusing on brain fitness activities.
 Coordinating and Assisting with Resident Outings.
 Partners with the Resident Care Director (RCD) to ensure that the residents clinical needs are addressed.
 Prior to move-in, reviews the resident’s preferences and needs and schedules the Family Meeting to
discuss the Resident Profile.
 Facilitates the Individual Service Plan (ISP) and Daily Assignment Sheet development and monitors
ongoing progress and practices to ensure resident engagement in brain fitness and other meaningful
identity enhancing activities.

– One (1) year experience working with memory impaired seniors
– High School diploma / GED accepted and may be required per state regulations; certification(s) may be required per state regulations.
– Maintains a current appropriate federal and state license such as CDL (commercial driver’s license) and/or
chauffeur license, applicable state license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with State,
Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Sunrise policy.
– Inspire, motivate and encourage volunteers and fellow team members to engage residents in meaningful, purposeful activities throughout the day and evening.
– Ability to handle multiple priorities.
– Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
– Competent in organizational & time mgmt skills.
– Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
– Ability to make responsible choices, decisions and act in a resident’s best interest.
– Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following community procedures and guidelines, ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
– Basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new applications.
