Lockheed Martin is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer for a position in Colorado Springs, CO.

-You will provide RF / Wireless Engineering support to the Maintenance of Space Situational Awareness Integrated Capabilities (MOSSAIC) Contract. The MOSSAIC Contract will provide sustainment services for current and future ground-based Space Situational Awareness (SSA) sensors, SSA Command and Control (C2) systems, and Space Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) capabilities for the Space and Missile Systems Center’s Ground Based Space Surveillance Division.

In this dynamic role you will:

Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.

Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on RF / wireless issues.

Interacts with senior personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.

Guides the successful completion of major projects and may function in a project leadership role.

Typically has 9 – 15 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:
Strong technical background

RF Engineering experience

Experience developing architectures and engineering designs for Radio Frequency systems and circuitry
Engineering experience supporting radar and antenna programs

Knowledgeable of the “waterfall” strategy for product development

Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships are a must

Ability to write technical sections of customer requests for information (RFIs) or proposals, including developing presentations to describe the technical approach in a clear manner

Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups

Must be able to work well in a team environment and work well with various levels of management

Strong attention to detail and must be able to work with minimal supervision

Final DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
Experience with the development and execution of RF subsystems test plans

Experience working with project management tools

Proposal or white paper submission experience

Experience supporting the Space Situational Awareness (SSA), SSA Command and Control (C2), and Space Battle Management and Control (BMC2) missions
